App - SEED
About
At Klang Games, I was invited to work on a product outside the game itself: a mobile wallet for SEED’s cryptocurrency and in-game assets.
The app was never meant to copy the game interface exactly. At my suggestion, we developed an adjacent visual identity that still felt connected to SEED. I focused on a scalable mobile design system, touch-friendly interactions, and layouts that work across a broad range of devices.
Final Result
I designed a broad range of screens and interaction modals, including:
- Landing page with account balance and key actions
- Badges and achievements tied to in-game challenges
- Pay-out flows, including third-party transfers to a bank account
- Minting flows for locking and converting in-game assets
I also created an interactive prototype that could be tested directly on mobile devices. Stakeholders used it to validate navigation, screen coverage, interaction flows, and the app’s overall identity.
From the earliest reviews, stakeholders responded very positively to the app’s look and feel.
Goals & Objectives
Mobile-First
SEED was built as a PC-first experience, while this wallet needed to work wherever its users were. A mobile-first approach made it easy to check balances, assets, and progress at any time.
High-end Experience
The product owner wanted a polished application rather than a game-like companion. I took cues from established crypto wallets such as Coinbase and World App while giving the experience its own visual identity.
Game-adjacent
We agreed to keep the app visually close to SEED without reproducing the game interface. That balance let me reuse parts of the color, component, and icon systems while creating new navigation patterns, components, and user journeys for touch.
Beauty Shots
A showcase of the final designs rendered on a mobile phone. I was responsible for the complete UI and UX of the app. These beauty shots were also used in internal presentations and publishing pitch decks.
