Clearance Level Rework Rainbow Six Siege

The Clearance Level Rework is a feature that was co-developed together with the Onboarding Cell which was responsible for a new Onboarding System, designed to help new players with learning the game, unlocking new game features in a more structured and paced way rather than getting everything immediately thrown at them, etc.

While the Onboarding Cell was mostly working on the progression between Level 1-20 of a player, we were handling everything after that, as well as the redesign of the overall player level, establishing a new calculation for xp distribution, resulting in an increased Clearance Level for a lot of players.

My Tasks

The overall design of the Clearance Level progression screen was provided by the Onboarding Cell.

It was on me to explore how to display the rewards that get unlocked after Clearance Level 20. Additionally, I also explored and finalized the design for displaying recurring rewards, resulting in a permanent piece of text at the bottom right of the screen which informs the player of recurring Renown and Alpha Pack unlocks at certain level milestones.

Lastly, I was also tasked with exploring potential redesigns for the Clearance Level crest, which ultimately got halted due to running out of time before the release of Siege X.

Final Result

Siege X released in June 2025
